Alkis Livathinos

Alkis Livathinos is a Greek composer and music producer who gently blends instrumental piano compositions with electronic elements and contemporary soundscapes.

Now releasing Piano Journal Vol. 1 with Blue Marble — a label known for nurturing contemporary instrumental artists such as Illuminine, Aparde, and Janus Rasmussen — Alkis revisits and breathes new life into old piano recordings. This project offers listeners an intimate glimpse into his evolving piano journal sessions, capturing moments of exploration and spontaneity. While he is known mostly for composing the critically acclaimed indie game Hue and creating bespoke music for brands and media, Alkis finds his true essence in the simple act of composing at the piano, which acts as a form of creative escapism where ideas are allowed to unfold naturally through improvisations and layering. His recent collaborative EP with Alex Kozobolis, along with his soundtrack for the short film I Didn't Get The Memo, received support from official Spotify and Apple Music playlists and entered Apple Music's Classical charts. Meanwhile, his electronic project Aonian, blending organic folklore elements with electronic textures, recently landed a remix for Max Cooper.Alkis' multi faceted journey as an independent composer has slowly been leading him into finding his own voice in the contemporary instrumental music space, where Alkis approaches each project with quiet curiosity, embracing both collaboration and the joy of creative self-sufficiency.
